- as per the README, I do not recommend doing what you are doing. You should use actual env vars instead of a .env file.
- if you are publishing the .env with the application binary, you need to have the .env file in the correct location relative to the Load call you make. If you provide no args, then your .env should be in the same or parent directory as the binary.
