Appears to be a problem with :Rename but not :Move. Since :Rename is explicitly defined as being relative to the current file's directory, I'm not too worried, but I would accept a patch.

OK, fair enough. :Rename doesn't even seem to be in the README; are you deprecating it? If not, I'll certainly look at doing a patch - I find :Rename a bit more intuitive when I am just renaming, not moving a file.

It's not deprecated.

Note :Rename bar.txt works fine. Typing out ~/Desktop/bar.txt strikes me as odd if only because you can't use tab complete.

It had not occurred to me that you could use the tab-complete with :Move :) Nevertheless, understood. If I get time, I'll look at a patch for :Rename to handle things more elegantly if a pathname is included.

Would be nice if you could also use tab-complete with :Rename. I typically need to rename a file using most of it's original filename, such as adding a prefix or suffix to the original name.
