Since you asked for feedback... I am in favor of keeping Tim's change. The default behavior of Y seems out of place given the behavior of D and C. Plus, it is redundant - to yank an entire line you just hit yy—just as you would use dd to delete the current line, or cc to change it.
Tim's change both adds functionality and aligns the functionality with similar commands. Yay, Tim.
BTW, this is essentially a duplicate of #47

First half is covered in #47, which I'll be revisiting soon. As for the second part, if we can't even agree on making Y consistent, there's no way I'm treading out into gratuitously remapping Q.
