Why do we allow it to live for so long? Oh that's right, because we hack around it's limitations to get it to "appear" to work right...

Please ignore this issue, I have abolished the use of IE8 in my application, but the plugin was blocking the execution of my scripts that displayed messages about incompatibility.
I modified the way load of my scripts, so that the error does not block further execution.

Meh, this will actually add ES3 detection to JSHint so we can avoid things like this in the future. I know we have to support it (at least until it gets below < 1%). Do I like it, no... but my attitude towards it is really just my personal opinion :D
