Would this be instead of reading an external calendar, or is there some way to make this work with that?

Another feature that would be helpful here: Log Release Window reminders.
A special reminder that is programmed for a given time of day to remind us of the window we try to release logs in. Instead of being a daily reminder, it could be triggered as needed. Once triggered, it would run until it detects either a notice in the rss feed, or a message posted to announcements, saying that a log is released, or it is manually turned off again. It would also have an optional flag to specify how many logs should release before it turns itself off, so if we have three logs ready for release, it would continue the reminders until it's seen three logs release.
Suggested command:
/logrelease
with the following flags:
howmany
how many logs should release before it turns itself off, default value 1
feed
url of rss feed to monitor for released logs
disable
no value, turns off reminders
time
what time of the day the release window starts, UTC?, remembers value across uses but defaults to the time of first trigger until value is set
message
the reminder message
With no flags, turns on with default values unless no feed value is set, then prompts user to add feed url.
This should be an admin only command.
