Apply correct truncation about tvo HOT 2 CLOSED

The issue with the GPU version is with bad duck arguments in torch.unique, and in particular with the sort=True method. That is claimed to be invoked on every instance of calling torch.unique, if the operation happens on the GPU. Consequently, one might expect that the inverse indices that can be returned with the function are also sorted and correspond to the mapping of uniques to the input tensor, such that they point to the indexwise first instance of the unique in the tensor. However, this is only definitely the case if the tensor is provided as sorted by the user.
