'Unable to de-serialize...' error when using the git path material plugin about gocd-git-path-material-plugin HOT 2 CLOSED

@Sepirothni The error above (SCM revision cannot be empty) generally means the plugin has not been able to find any revision in your repo that matches the filtered path (e.g \server\services\Notification in your case above). You probably won't to check the path is correct; it looks a bit odd because it's using backslashes (but maybe you are using windows?); and the leading slash is possibly not correct.

Having said that, personally I had major challenges getting 1.2.3 to work on more modern GoCD versions against services such as AWS CodeCommit (due to the plugin's v1.2.3 use of JGit); and started maintaining a modernized fork at https://github.com/chadlwilson/gocd-git-path-material-plugin. I have a PR outstanding to see if my changes can get merged back here - but you might be interested to try my fork and see if it works for you. Hopefully soon I will be able to get it merged back here and released.
