Python import behaves different between Windows and Linux

On Windows, the following code work:

__main__.py

# Process PYTHONPATH
import os
import sys
SCRIPT_DIR = os.path.dirname(os.path.abspath(__file__))
sys.path.append(os.path.dirname(SCRIPT_DIR))

# Other code from upstream
from . import console_script

if __name__ == '__main__':
    console_script.main()

However, when to Linux for example Debian,
the from . import <package name> will not work and error:
ImportError: attempted relative import with no known parent package

But, since SCRIPT_DIR were appended to sys.path,
delete every (not just the one in main.py) from . before import can solve the problem.

For example:

...
# Other code from upstream
import console_script
...

from ptadapter.
