[BUG] Retrieving info error when download any video, please help to resolve, thanks! about youtubedl-material HOT 9 CLOSED

Can you try the latest nightly? I think this is related to permissions but I could be wrong.

How did you resolve this?

I'm still getting this error. I've rebuilt the stack, done the chmod that was suggested and verified that I'm using yt-dlp.
Running 4.3.2 on Synology NAS via Docker and Portainer

Im on the latest nightly as well, using yt-dlp and aria2c, running on Docker on ubuntu 22.04.
Previously i used to have to run this command everytime the container started:
docker exec youtube-dl chmod +x node_modules/youtube-dl/bin/youtube-dl
But this isnt working anymore. I still cant retrieve info. It does download the video at the best quality though

Forgot to mention, node_modules/youtube-dl/bin/youtube-dl doesn't exist in the latest nightly. Instead you'll find it in appdata/bin, and each fork has its own binary you can use. So to test if you still need chmod, you'll want to run it on all those binaries.
