@mattbrailsford - any ideas on what to call the ignore attribute?
Maybe DittoIgnore or UmbracoPropertyIgnore?

Going off things like the Json serializer which has JsonIgnore, I'd probably say DittoIgnore

That was my initial thought too 👍 then that got me thinking is UmbracoPropertyAttribute well named? DittoProperty? hmmm... just opened a can-o-worms ;-)

I think it's ok. DittoProperty wouldn't be very descriptive. DittoUmbracoProperty is a bit too long (though we could add it aswell if we thought someone else might use UmbracoProperty to make things explicit)?

Unless you did DittoMapFrom or DittoExplicityMap or something?

Yeah, I'm totally happy with UmbracoPropertyAttribute (at this time). Devs can fully namespace any conflicts.
Let's go with DittoIgnore too... to be honest I think excluding/ignoring will be edge-case. As in so far it's only today that I've had a need for it.
