The solution sound a bit painful, but should work with no issues

This seems to be partially fixed in the latest version of PR 31:
- Preview are displayed correctly
BUT
When clicking on the image for full screen display, the image displayed in full screen is rotated 90 degrees when compared to the original picture...
from frontend.

I think it might be something else that's wrong with the image, as nothing was done to change the orientation in which previews are rendered
