Actually this PR already adds support for v2: #1253
will need to re-run all the tests, but it should provide backwards compat with v1

Hello @cosmicBboy, I suggest to migrate Pandera codebase to Pydantic v2 in two steps.
Step 1) Use Pydantic v2 dependency, import from pydantic.v1
Step 2) Incrementally convert codebase to use pydantic.BaseModel
instead of pydantic.v1.BaseModel
.
We are using Pandera extensively, but with pinned dependency to pydantic=1.*
, we cannot benefit from significantly improved improved performance of pydantic v2 in other parts of project.
The step 1) being simple dependency update + replace imports with sed, would help us a lot.
