Got the same error with the building file in data_dir/data/wpsdata/buildings.shp.

from noisemodelling.

mmmm, I just tried with NM 4.0.3, and with data_dir/data/wpsdata/buildings.shp and it worked.

This is the clipboard if you want to test.

Hi, I got the same problem when I try to generate the receiver for building_grid3D with my own building's shape file. I tried with data_dir/data/wpsdata/buildings.shp and It doesn't work too. I'm using NM 4.0.0. How can I sort out this?

Hi,

You can use the last version of NoiseModelling 4.0.4

https://github.com/Universite-Gustave-Eiffel/NoiseModelling/releases/tag/v4.0.4

BrendaYelicich avatar BrendaYelicich commented on June 22, 2024

Hi, thanks for your answer, I can generate the receivers for building_grid3D using the last version of the software. Now, I want to generate the IsoSurfaces with these results, but I can´t do it because I don´t have Triangles. How can I see with colors these results? I would like to analyze the cut of a street vertically.

nicolas-f avatar nicolas-f commented on June 22, 2024

Hi,

NoiseModelling does not have any process to directly produce a vertical noise maps. You have to provide your own receivers position and do the post processing yourself in another software.
