We'll shift this towards getting some up on the gh-pages branch.
@luuj:
Create a folder to hold data files (json, tsv, csv, etc) in parallel to the js/css folders.
Place the D3 Javascript you find in some team's HTML in a .js file of its own, put it in the js folder.
If you're feeling ambitious, modify their Javascript to embed the visualization to a section of the splash page (like if you look at the D3 currently in the Wicket project). Once the files are in the right folder, make sure you include the script in the HTML file. You may have to examine the console tab of browser dev tools to debug if file paths and things are not quite right.
Otherwise you can pluck an HTML file from the group project and put that up, and link that somewhere in the main page (sort of a external but static D3 gallery I guess). Doing it this way though, it still would be preferable if you separate out the Javascript from the HTML file if the team put them together.
The main goal of this is just to get the data and js directories set up so others can start putting their stuff up.
hmu if you need more direction
