Hi,
It seems like curl command failed.
What will be the result of the following command?

$ curl --head -skL http://www.python.org/ftp/python/2.5.5/Python-2.5.5.tgz

If you are using a proxy, the environment variable HTTP_proxy must be set.

Ah sorry...maybe I misunderstood this issues.
How did you interrupt an installation? Ctrl-C?
I wonder why KeyboardInterrupt is not working.

but anyways, I think it is a bug. I will fix it.

I did not explained it rightfully.

1- I tried to install python-2.5.5, yet it was hanging on test_threading, so I interrupted it with ctrl-c (https://github.com/utahta/pythonbrew/issues#issue/12)
2- I tried pythonbrew install --force 2.5.5, and now I get this TypeError

I guess I will delete everything and reinstall pythonbrew.
