Hi, thanks for your interest and your concern. I'm having real difficulties to organize my time and I would probably be happy with some help on gitchangelog
(and other project). On the other hand, there are a few values and quality level that are important to me that makes it difficult to completely hand a project that I continue to use everyday in nearly all my projects. I'm happy though to see that thanks to opensource spirit and github, forks are flourishing here and there. I need probably a little more time to settle on a firm decision, as I didn't completely lost hope about having some time in my week for these projects. Thank you anyway for your kind reminders. I'll try to see if I can post an update on this thread in the next month.

Maybe take a look at a more up-to-date fork of this at https://github.com/sarnold/gitchangelog instead? They have, for some reason, chosen not to publish their version on PyPi, but perhaps you could coax them into it as well.

Ah yeah, that's what I use now (since this project doesn't run for me), but that's why I wanted to help maintain it, so that I could at least try to get it back to working shape.

Understood. Yes, it would be nice for this project to be brought back alive and up-to-date, since it's already available on PyPi; that's where I also found this.
