BARF is a language-agnostic engine for generating finite-automaton-based scanners (reflex) and pushdown-automaton-based parsers (trison). Targets -- in any language -- are completely specified via text files using a preprocessor language -- no additional compilation is necessary to change existing targets or add new ones.
