At first glance this might be more complicated than previously imagined.
I originally thought this would be a case of the client sending "i've entered this area now!" and the server responding with something simple. However, this fully happens on the server side.
In order to know when a player explores an area, the server needs to know about the map and the areas on that map. In order to know that information, some sort of vmap/map parsing must be implemented. The latter is definitely topic on its own, too big to chew off for this issue that was originally meant to be "bite sized".
I'm tagging this issue as blocked until there's some map/vmap parsing system done.
