I don't remember where I got this from, but from a quick look at app.klipse.tech it seemed okay.

Oh I see. This is due to a very weird feature/bug of self-host clojurescript. Something called the eval-context.

The workarounds are:

1. Wrap your code into an array
2. Use eval-context=expr url param - as specified here: http://blog.klipse.tech/clojure/2016/03/27/klipse-manual.html
