In this project, I am implementing the Android Programming to retrieve the physical location of a user using GPS and Skyhook values. TrackLocation is an app for android device which can collect the data when user moves randomly with this app on. This app collects several measurements like GPS, time, accelerometer, accuracy etc. We are mainly interested in the latitude and longitude values collected by the app for that time frame. This result file is then parsed using Parser.pl (written in Perl) program which creates the formatted output of latitude and longitude pair values. These pair of values are then passed to TestFactualAvtivity.java code to get the user's location from Factual Database. After collecting all the locations, we create a day itinerary for the user.
