@vitali-fedulov Sorry. I made a mistake --- I used this package and rivo/duplo at the same project, and tried to save features generated by the latter, which wasted too much RAM and Disk. images3 works fine to me. No over-sized issue.

Your question seems to relate to general Golang serialization. Is that correct?

For that I would use Golang gob: https://pkg.go.dev/encoding/gob

I intentionally do not provide any store, as there are great solutions by other developers.

Please correct me, or close the issue, if not relevant anymore.

Could you share an example code with the gob implementation? So I better understand what you are trying to achieve.

How many images your are working with?

Have you tried using hashes (as in the 2nd example of README.md), as it is much more compact?
