I was able to find the reson to all my problem.

I didn't want to configure the manifest in nuxt.config-file. That's the reason.
The manifest-file have to be saved in two different types, json AND webmanifest (if you don't use pwa.manifest).

Unfortunately it is not enough to have only one of them.

I checked the proposed solution about pwa.registerWebManifestInRouteRules: true. That wasn't working in my case.

@lovkyndig you can configure your own webmanifest file using app.head in nuxt config file, then set manifest: false in pwa configuration and remove the VitePwaManifest from app.vue.

Very good! Now I only need one manifest-file; manifest.webmanifest - and no need for <VitePwaManifest /> in app.vue
Finally zerro issues and (for now) frontpage that loads offline.
