I'm assuming you are talking about the following effect: If the caret is "on" '{', it matches to ')'.
That is because Eclipse (or more specifically the Java editor) always matches the bracket before the caret position. In this case, the actual caret position is between '(' and '{', so '(' is matched to ')'. (you cannot be "on" a character in Eclipse, only before or after a character)

While I agree that it is a bit confusing, because the caret is drawn thick, it can't be "fixed" by us. To get the expected behaviour, the editor would have to provide an option to always match the bracket after the caret position, but I don't think such an option exists.

Can we close this or were you talking about a different issue?

Thank you wawe. With you explain now I can understand how the eclipse match the bracket, I think I won't confuse even there will be never an option to "fix" this.
