cd: no such file or directory: /usr/share/nmap/scripts about nmap-vulners HOT 2 CLOSED

you will run into the error "/usr/local/bin/../share/nmap/nse_main.lua:823: 'vulners' did not match a category, filename, or directory

the way I fixed this was by using the command:
cd /usr/share/nmap/scripts
nmap -sV --script=vulscan/vulscan.nse
nmap -sV --script=vulscan/vulscan.nse -sV -p22 50...** (*or what ever command you desire)

If it still isn't make sure you installed it correctly:
cd /usr/share/nmap/scripts
git clone https://github.com/scipag/vulscan scipag_vulscan
ln -s pwd/scipag_vulscan /usr/share/nmap/scripts/vulscan

@MrCherub get in to each directory one by one.
cd usr
cd share ... so on

from nmap-vulners.
