This is actually an issue with the github issue template as wails report was deprecated a while back. You raise a great point though and I'm going to update the template.

A fix has been added to the develop branch. If you are brave, you can GO111MODULE=on go get github.com/wailsapp/wails/cmd/wails@develop or wait until the next pre-release :-)
