[Question]: Request failed with 401 Unauthorized about weaveworks-backstage HOT 4 CLOSED

Tested the current available version 0.8.1 with Backstage version 1.16.0 and it works fine.

Looks like this version is not compatible with the lastes 1.17 version of Backstage

Hello @dirien I think it's caused by this issue backstage/backstage#12394

I've tried it on 1.17.5 and it works, but we have auth for the Backstage UI which means we have a token.

I'll take another look at whether we could replace the standard calls with a custom query to work around this.

thanks for the feedback. For now, I think I will enable GitHub auth to solve this. I will close this issue for now, as there is no issue on the plugin.
