SyntaxError sounds reasonable to me. I haven't read up on best practice for
DOM exceptions, which would be prudent, but notice that Blink
implementation often dispenses meaningful strings as well with these
exceptions. While likely not requiring specification of precisely what that
string is, as a developer it would be sufficient to catch a SyntaxError
with a message such as "Could not parse parameter as a UUID."

If the UUID is invalid (e.g., "what-ever"), then SyntaxError - but if it's valid but not found, then NotFoundError.
