Hi @tuehlarsen - we use Brave Browser for crawling, which has some ad blocking features enabled. To disable these, you can create a browser profile, go to brave://settings, and then disable ad blocking behavior under the Shields tab. That should resolve your issue!

Ok, but I have only the browsertrix GUI. The ads are shown in our local 1.9.2 installation so it works for me there

yes it works with brave:settings in the browserprofile. Thanks for the info! We need to configure it in all browser-profiles. The GUI crawl button for ads does not have any effect when the browser default is no ads and no cookies.
