Looks like it may be crashes due to memory limit, may need to give it more memory. Are you doing anything in particular, or just loading and saving? The profiles are designed for quick logins.
The grey screen is a known issue that may happen after a profile is open for an extended period of time #1838

I finally figured out the issue and why profiles run out of memory! It turns out by default Brave/Chrome are configured to restore previous tabs for the profile. Because the profile system also opens a new tab, it ends up opening more and more tabs after each save, until eventually loading the profile ends up running out of memory! The windows are stacked on top of each other so its not easy to see

Luckily, there is an easy fix to force the setting to disable this, which we can add in Browsertrix Crawler
