Sorry for the noise. This was NixOS/nixpkgs#309532, so indeed a build issue.

Hey, the latest commit works just fine on Linux for me when building without Nix. Could you try the latest AppImage Nightly build maybe from https://imhex.werwolv.net?
The stack trace points to a call to glGenTextures which suggests that the OpenGL context could not be initialized for some reason so it might be a build / environment issue on your end
