The second part of this FR may have been addressed by the wider assortment of terrain. The randomly generated maps are labeled as "desert", "marsh" and 'winter'. I think this isn�t meant to be thought of specifically as in seasons, it�s just a label. I don�t see this as a problem (and keep in mind we have more tilesets and thus more mountain choices than we did 10 years ago).
