I have also tried reverting to the earlier facebook code, but am still getting the same errors as stated above.

Hate to pile on, but same here. Shazron, any luck with that fix? Worked fine for Android, but this is the only thing keeping me from publishing to iOS, I'd hate to have to go back in and re-wire again.

Verified this occurs with the correct commit version of the Facbeook iOS SDK, as well as the latest version. Is this really the official phonegap facebook plugin? Haven't heard anything about this since 9/20, except for davejohnson updating the copyright notice.

This will be fixed - sorry, but I have had other pressing matters that took precedence, I'll try to fix it Tues afternoon. When I tested it last many weeks ago, it worked - but I'm sure it's a matter of missing documentation or a small tweak.

I just ran through the steps in the README from a new project (based off 1.0 from phonegap.com) and everything compiled fine.

There are some things that are different - for example step 7. is just getting items from www, not app/www (but this will not affect compilation errors).

The important thing to note is step 11 - it only works with the version up to commit 91f256424531030a454548693c3a6ca49ca3f35a (facebook/facebook-ios-sdk@91f2564) of the FaceBook iOS SDK. Clone the sdk, then branch off the commit.

Steps 18-19 is critical to prevent the SBJSON error as well. With PhoneGap 1.1 (upcoming) this duplicate symbol error should go away and step 19 can be removed.

Isn't it easier to just fix the plug-in so that it works with the latest version of the facebook-ios-sdk?

Is it compatible with the latest yet? I still can't get around the JSON, SBJSON errors...

As far as i can tell it currently works with PhoneGap 1.0.0 and not with 1.1.0.
