Reverted and tagged v0.7.17. It'd be great if you could tell me when the problem is solved and we can update that package.

Hey @wmnsk , maga is now using envoy 0.10.1. That means newest grpc golang module is supported google.golang.org/grpc v1.36.0
I think you can now revert your changes you did here and use 1.36.0 grpc module
