Is there any way to do this? I would like to load in a lot of slides with images, but I don't want my page to slow down. I would like the slides to be loaded on demand when clicking on the next link.

mbmufffin's response at the bottom of the page was basically the same conclusion I ended up at. It looks like this is doable now with v2 on the master branch. I'll see if I can get a working demo up within the next day or two.

Mmhmm. I'm currently sliding about 18 embedded videos. I'd love to know how to lazy load them.

Please refer to the discussion in place at #310.

While FlexSlider core supports the adding and removing of slides via AJAX, the implementation of the "lazy-load" functionality itself is up to the developer integrating FlexSlider, as the content, data storage and implementation can differ per scenario.

Thanks. :)
