Problem using symbol literals #NULL_STRING, #NULL_DATE etc about xsharppublic HOT 3 CLOSED

The compiler does not recognize these as symbols, to allow code like this:

LOCAL d as Date
d := Today()
? d #NULL_DATE

where # is equal to the <> or != operator.

Oh, I see. But VO somehow allows both

s := #NULL_DATE

and

? d #NULL_DATE

Minor problem, but it's still an incompatibility. Would be nice to allow both, too, in X#, but probably not worth spending too much time on it.
