It's these: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-aerodrive-sk3-6374-149kv-brushless-outrunner-motor.html?___store=en_us
I'm running them on 24v at the moment, so about 1/4 of the rated max power, but that may change.

No there isn't, and it's subject to change as I go through the development. All the extrusion is shown in the CAD though

doesn't matter, please post the bom so i can start to know how much i have to spend
from opendog.
I'd love to see a BOM as well. Simple things like what joysticks are in the controller, which motors you picked would be really handy to have in one place.

Hi,
The drive boards are: https://odriverobotics.com/shop/odrive-v36
The motors are some sort of Turnigy Aerodrive I just do not know what you are running for wattage, I would love to know more about the motor setup and choice because I have tons of 40W CAN motors.
from opendog.
I am sure this is probably not the most appropriate place to discuss this, but are you running into power issues from them not giving out enough? Is there are reason you would change the motors to something bigger/Smaller?
from opendog.
There's more than enough power, I might go to 36 or 48v thought so they go faster, but in reality I'd change the belt drive ratio to the ball screw to 1:1 first.
from opendog.
What is your ideal RPM you want to be moving these ball screws at? Also do you know how much load is actually put on these motors from weight/ Friction/ other forces?
from opendog.
I don't actually know, most of what I do is trial and error. They could do with being quicker though
from opendog.
Sorry for asking so many questions, but would you go through and re-build all 12 so they are kept the same, or would you do like leg only upgrades? If there is a better format to ask these questions let me know.
from opendog.
That is uncertain at this stage. It's possible I might just try a 36v battery first also, haven't really decided.
