Both GCNet and NonLocal are generic operator that could be inserted into any network architecture.
The experiments of image classification, object detection, video action recognition could be found in the paper.

I thinks it is popular enough. GCNet and NonLocal have different focus on primary experiments, one on object detection, the other on video action recognition. Please refer to the original papers for the detail.
