problem in encoding!! about laravel-oci8 HOT 4 CLOSED

maybe try using raw query like below?

DB::statement('CREATE TABLE t1 (
        col1 VARCHAR(5)
        CHARACTER SET latin1
        COLLATE latin1_german1_ci
        )');

Was reviewing this request and it seems that Laravel does not have this feature yet. As of now, just use raw query as work around.

Trying to look for a work around and it appears that oracle does not even support encoding on column and table level.

hi yajra i can not insert persian alphabet into database . it is like arabic .
