Implement the blog demo about yii2 HOT 7 CLOSED

Is this still actual? (Considering the fact we already have three different kinds of demo applications.)

I think it worth to be implemented since people will definitely look forward to see more or less functional-rich application. Symfony2 may be cited as an example: after their 2.0 release everyone searched for Symfony2 variant of their famous Jobeet tutorial application.

Yeah, I think it worth doing. I'm going to update my blog to be powered by Yii2 and probably will opensource it.

The important thing is to explain how the application is developed so that users understand how this code grew to what it is and have pointers to further reading. Many people prefer readings docs or tutorials like this over looking on example code that is already in final state. You have to see the progress to really understand what is going on and how you can do a similar thing yourself.

LOL, why not, you can create your own repo, and start to do it. The team
are quite busy right now I think.

cebe is right that it should be clear that how it should be implemented..... whatever i just have started a blog project for yii's demo.. as initial making it same as old blog but utilizing and what Yii2 gives with bootstrap & all....
