Documentation on Swift and Objective-C are provided by Apple. This works with both CocoaPods and a manual installation of the library through a bridging-header file (This file is how you import Objective-C files and libraries into a Swift project).

You may want to use the fork my earlier PR (#22) is based on in order to have more sane enum handling.

with Xcode 6.1.1 for iOS 8.1, this project will not compile.
lots of errors and this code base hasn't been updated in a long while. back to embedded.

@gaming-hacker sorry, I erroneously assumed you were running into the issue of enums not behaving nicely in Swift, not that the project doesn't compile at all.
I haven't tried this project in Xcode 6.1.1 myself.

I was having trouble myself so I wrote what is essentially a Swift port of this library. It's called Swift-YouTube-Player
