Hi Denni007,
I tried to implement transparent colors before, but the problem is in tooltip pointer, which is a 45 degrees rotated rectangle and inflows a little inside the tooltip box. The intention was to make inner DOM elements of a tooltip box to inherit as much CSS properties from the main parent as possible to keep styling managable for other developers and less dependent on javascript. So now, if you apply background-color or box-shadow to the .tooltip-box element, it would also be applied to pointer and inner text boxes of a tooltip.

For now opacity is not supported by tooltip presentation
