Errors are rendered by View\Listener and not ErrorController about zendskeletonapplication HOT 2 CLOSED

Yeah, I would really like to see the entire story around error/exception handling cleaned up. We currently have too many places that throw (or don't and should throw) exceptions. No route match, controller class (DI alias) not found, action not found in controller, view script not found, etc. There seems to be at least an instance or two where you can get an error page without the exception being passed. It may be appropriate to wait on the new view implementation from Matthew before spending too much effort on this, though.

This has been mostly resolved now with the new view layer changes. ErrorController no longer exists.
