I'm making a photo browser that offers allowsEditing API like UIImagePickerController :) Further, I want to improve animation effect and improve image with CoreImage. If you send me a pull request I will appreciate it :)
For the Done button, maybe you are right that selected number is unnecessary. Maybe I shouldn't to copy the FB completely. Nevertheless, if you have selected an image in the "A" album, then switch to another album "B", in the case, if you wants to know how many images are selected? I will have to think it over.

I ended up messing with the source code of this library and pairing it with
another cropping library. My code is pretty hacky and not pretty though. If
you want it, I could find it in one of my projects.
