Formatting provider re-enables itself about vscode-zig HOT 2 CLOSED

I don't know why it is getting re-enabling itself but if your goal is to disable format on save then you should specifically set that in your settings with:

    "[zig]": {
        "editor.formatOnSave": false
    },

from vscode-zig.

I've had a look through the code and it looks like the formatters are registered on activation and it can't be anything related to ZLS since that is invoked externally. The only thing I can think of is VSCode periodically calling activate again and it failing to fetch the overwritten settings? But that seems unlikely.

Either way, the suggested fix resolves the issue I was having.
