Actually I recently rewrote master to stop using cucumber and use rspec directly for testing. Something could be failing there.
Also I brought in VCR to record http responses. That's nice for green tests, but it becomes a pain with red ones. You have to remember what's going on and clobber them. I haven't written any documentation on it yet, but you can check the spec_helper.rb for the flag(s).
