I focussed on template tags until now. This looks interesting, but I'd like to see template tags for everything to enable simple access.
The philosophy of django-bootstrap3 is that the Django part is in your templates -- your app shouldn't need too much knowledge of Bootstrap.
This way, you can easily upgrade to newer versions etc.

Fair enough, maybe i was just thinking too much along the lines bootstrap_toolkit and your approach will cut the cake as well.
