I recently changed the Table of Contents(toc) logic to use Goldmark native.
You can set the level by changing the endLevel and startLevel

I know that updating is a bother. But, I believe the new version is more reliable and faster.
I hope you to update the Zzo theme.

And toc level issue already resolved, so I'm closing this issue now.
