I am trying to cross-compile for use on Samsung S3C2440 ARM9 (armv4t)
processor.

My final outcome is to build Qt Embedded for use for ARM architecture (more
specifically, FriendlyArm mini2440 board) with OpenGL ES support.

Any help you can give on this topic would be GREATLY appreciated.

OpenGL ES defines that all method will also have gl<name>x() candidate to 
support fixed point platforms.

Unfortunately your GLU implementation doesn't support it.
Will be nice to see it in next version.
