since there just so happens to be an on-going slew of defects,
I'm posting this so I won't have to continue with a new defect once you resolve 
a previous one.
(it's a challenge to delete the entire post message when you're only allowed 
the BackSpace key)

anyways... as of the update...
I just get a blank white screen when trying to view a page
(it seems to enter an infinite loop just before displaying the page)

IS there a way to turn of the wiimote Rumble, if not can it be added to options?

It would be nice if wiibrowser could read and add the bookmarks that are in the 
Opera for Wii Channel

I've only just tried downloading a file to my USB...
(SD is too small)

it'll display the dialog and everything properly,
but after the download finishes, there's nothing on the USB

I facedesked when I figured this out...

you have to type in the filename or else the file (of whatever you're saving) 
won't appear in the location.

I thought it was just asking for a directory this whole time...


you should explain that so as other people won't be mis-led :/
or work on improving it :P

anyways, it downloads, and I'm happy XD

support for cc and gamecube controller? I can move  between the buttons of the 
bottom toolbar with the gamecube dpad and such but when the update prompt shows 
up and i hit a , the program trows an exception and goes back to the homebrew 
channel. ok could you integrate cc and gc controller support similar to that of 
usbloader gx or wiixplorer where you could use the program without a wii-mote? 
if you could, that would be Awesome, thanks.

I downloaded the new revision update and tried to go back to the Wii Menu and 
it didn't work. The Homebrew Channel still works, but my Wii Remote doesn't 
sync and when I try to redownload the update I get a Stack Dump.

the thing is that the rumble eats batteries it will be nice to
have decide the user whether or not to use it, also, will be nice

in the download section a "WiiBrowser Channel Forwarder" cuz, I been

When i use the newest version, than the homebrew will do an update. i do this 
and than all is freezing. some seconds later the homebrew goes back to the HBC. 

When people use login in a forum than they click the username oder passwort 
place and than the code dump oder stack dump shows with much vibration.

When pressing  the "Download" Button Icon the new Download Manager appears 
which was great for coolrom wii64 and doom wads btw. I thought it would be 
great if there was a "Note" icon which would make a Pop up with a Text field 
and a "Save .TXT" button in it.

I believe it could complement the browser well. The wii lacks an up to date USB 
keyboard text editor. There are a few abandoned projects unfortunately and 
myself and 7000 cant run the latest wiixplorer (see their google code page) I 
wonder if it is possible... btw I'll send you that well deserved £20 as soon 
as I get off here for getting Downloads and Screenshots working 

I think it would be alot easier if you(we) could send suggestions/bugs ect 
through the app. You said something about uploading(i think) so you could set 
up just a simple text box thingy in (settings?) and have it upload to a 
website(this one?) automatically. 

I ve only just discovered that in order to fix issues with Downloads and Save 
Settings. The User must get WiiBrowser rev24+HBC additional files then 
overwrite with rev28 -boot.dol. Could you please confirm this, I'll also try 
tomorrow and submit more research. Thank you goodday ;))

How's progress going with the "screenshots to SD" feature. Did you say you may 
have a version for the community to test?

Yesterday, I considered there maybe an easier way to save pages to SD. With a 
Cache Viwew you can view pages and files from your browsing session . For 
example, after visiting wikipedia, and going on youtube for music and vids. 
click "Cache View" to display list. You can now easily download youtube vids 
and web pages to view in wiimc or mplayerwii

Here is the result of the tests you asked for. Appears very functional atm. I 
can see it not as a replacement to Opera Wii it may be it time but rather it 
achieves what Nintendo failed to do!!! Opera Wii may have Youtube, but 
WiiBrowser has given us File Downloads, Message Boards, Email and soon 
Screenshots to SD. All in all, WiiBrowser isn't trying to be an all powerful PC 
browser its trying to fill in the gaps left by Opera Wii. Together Opera Wii 
and WiiBrowser provide the full experience.

I think its brilliant this hand in hand approach of Opera Wii and WiiBrowser.

Currently running it off of an USB drive (SanDisk 8GB, first used in 2010).

When I open the menu and enter "http://www.google.com/", the browser says it is 
loading and then promptly gives me the crash screen.

Any idea why this happens? Should I run it off of an SD Card instead?

like the title states...
when I'm in the middle of reading a page, the browser will randomly exit.

does this have to do with those exceptions I mentioned earlier in another 
issue?? :/
like... are you working on catching the browser so it doesn't exit when hitting 
an exception??

Cursor flashes and Bottom 10% of screen flashes black, white console code 
loading every page It is a particular problem with Google Searches

Great work so far, really the progress made in the few development is 
unbelievable.

I thought the Wii was dying, but with this I felt inspired... 

HBC 1.0.1 has a screenshot feature I really think would help browser to stand 
out. Being able to grab whole pages or zoom in and just grab images to SD.  

The screenshots could then be edited in Wii Paint Channel or put SD card in 
printer to print the images and or text!! XD

Ive contatcted you before with this, or a similar issue. When i click download, 
it asks if i want to download the file and i say yes. I then use wiixporer to 
go to my sd card and its not there. but if i click debug.txt(?) the website 
that i was on is there.

Thank you for breathing a bit of life back into wiibrew. Have £20 for all your 
hard work on perfecting the Downloads nad  Screenshot features As well as all 
the irritating bugs like visable code screen and constantly flashing cursor. 

I was impressed by being able to use a USB keyboard and Send Emails, even 
Favoutites Thumbnails work. Brilliant work mate, the best surprise I've had 
after weeks of pressure at work. I'll still be using this on my Wii U when it 
comes as will may others I'm sure.

Perhaps a zoom feature could be added to rival the PS3 and Xbox browsers. It 
would make for easier reading without having to continuously scroll and would 
complement the Screenshot feature by grabbing a whole page or just a section or 
image.

The google pages looked messed up, text is overlapping other and are scrambled

Wii downgraded from 4.3u to 4.1u with bootmii and priiloader installed.

my man congradulations and thank you very much for this :)
though it was a pain to figure out how to use from the start XD
(is used to Opera's viewing control)

anyways, here's a few requests that are causing some serious issues from not 
being implamented:
- Cookies to remember login info
- page-zoom (I've always hated single column view in Opera)
- render web pages properly (as they would look normally)
- text selection and cursor control like Opera.

I see you're working on a bunch of other stuff,
so I'm narrowing down my requests to just these for now ;)

enable javascript.
 is there any way to enable it that i did not find yet?

- click on a download link
- loading page for 5 minutes (file size?, or maybe possible network issues)
- file-save dialog (Yes/No)
- file browser <3 <3
- OK

it returns to the page instantly, and no file is in the SD.
(same for DL-ing web pages)

do I need any CIOS's installed??
(I only have Waninkoko's IOS249 and IOS36(truscha bug) installed)

i test the wiibrowser on the vwii mode, but this wont work. maybe you can fix 
this? i can test some wiibrowser dols, if you want?
