I need to crack my lost bitwarden, i have files from chrome extension. As I understand it, bitwarden2hashcat is intended only for Desktop app. How i can extract hash from extension? Thank you!

When I run it on Ubuntu I receive the following error: NameError: name 'false' is not defined. Did you mean: 'False'?

It would be great if this tool would allow to specify the path to a specific file (like in case of a pentester who gathered some .json files that they want to "convert"):

python bitwarden2hashcat.py /tmp/2020_08_13_0912/client1337/data.json

Several *2hashcat and *2john tools allow specifying a specific file and it will be converted to a hash. This would be a great addition thx

Your tool works great, thank you so much for your work!
I'm trying to recover a master password for a friend which is stored in the database because we lost the data.json. We already did extract the hash from the database and convert it so that it gets accepted by hashcat. But It doesn't work because apparently the hash is salted an dhashed again before being stored in the database. It does not match the hash from the data.json (on a test account)
Do you have any Idea how I can bring hashcat to also do the second hashing and salting?
Any inputs would be very welcome, we're really hitting a brick wall here...

I had to install plyvel using anaconda cmd prompt. When I try to run python3 bitwarden2hashcat.py I keep getting "please install plyvel module." I have very little knowledge and just trying to get into my bitwarden vault after loosing the master password (may be futile).
